Our Mission Statement:

 

The mission of the HEALTH Grant at Fulton-Montgomery Community College is to offer pathways to employment and advancement to residents of Fulton, Montgomery and Schoharie counties who are unemployed or incumbent workers by providing the essential skills and education necessary for individuals to flourish as health care professionals. 

All programs include:

 

Supportive services including the cost of tuition, books, training materials, testing fees and uniforms for participants.  Additionally, costs for transportation to and from training as well as participants costs for child care during training can be paid for on an as needed basis for qualified participants.  Students will participate in individualized advisory meetings, tutoring, language acquisition classes, peer-to-peer mentoring, stress management workshops, hands on occupational training, resume writing and interviewing techniques, and job placement.
